When preparing to purchase your first or next home, you may be curious as to what home size is perfect for you. Whether you are looking for a secluded tiny home, a location with character for growth, or even a large house to share with your extended family during the holidays.
Tiny Home
Your first, and smallest, option would be a tiny house. This is perfect for a single, or couple that does not plan to have children or have recently had them move out. This home is about as close and personal as you can get with your significant other. With highly efficient living conditions, you will find everything you need in a space sometimes as small as 100 Sq Ft. Your ability to thrive in this space is rewarded with the often low cost of the home and utilities. Who needs space to stretch their legs anyway?
Small Family House
A small family house would be a house in the size range between 1 – 3 bedrooms. While larger than your average tiny home, this can begin to get a bit tight. While you may be able to give each child their own room, there is unlikely to be extra room for family gatherings. This is the most common family home in America as it offers possibilities from a wide range of income types. While someone in the lower class may be able to afford a home in the small family home category, an individual in the upper-lower class will as well more modern finishes.
Large House
Finally what many wish to obtain someday, is a large house. This would be your house with 4+ bedrooms with plenty of room for each family member, and possibly even more! This house is perfect for hosting family gatherings like Christmas and thanksgiving. However, with all of the benefits that come with this house, there is one major negative, price. House price in this category often times gets very far up often times unobtainable for lower and lower-middle-class families. However, it is often never regretful to move into this size of house when the money is not an issue.
